TA Select 3 is a major upgrade of the widely used TA Select II software. Beside all existing functions in TA Select II and numerous improvements and product updates, TA Select 3 introduces a new hydronic circuit calculation mode.

New hydronic circuit calculation mode

To work with the new hydronic circuit calculation tool, you build up the hydronic module structure of a complete plant and simply enter the most basic system design information, coil Dp, design power with DT or flow and the pipe lengths. TA Select 3 performs then the total system detail sizing instantly.


The new hydronic circuit calculation mode in TA Select 3:

•   Sizes all circuit and distribution pipes
•   Calculates all pipe friction losses
•   Calculates pressure drops in defined singularities
•   Calculates the required pump head
•   Works backwards through the entire system, accurately sizing the control valves to ensure good authority and modulating control under all variable load conditions
•   Sizes balancing valves and Dp controllers optimally
•   Calculates presetting positions for speeding up the balancing procedure
•   Allows easy drag and drop modifications in input data tables and performs instant recalculation
•   Generates a valve list that can be uploaded in the passing of a second to TA-CBI for balancing and measuring
•   Provides multiple printing outputs for generating a complete plant sizing folder with overview tables and detailed circuit information.

Installation, Update and Activation

Installation
It is not possible to download TA Select 3 from this site, it is only available on CD. All localized versions of TA Select 3 are available on one CD with TA nr 309 762-01. The installation from CD is required; the upgrade from TA Select II to TA Select 3 is not possible.




Update
Update of any TA Select 3 installation can be accessed through TA Update, the update application installed together with TA Select 3. Updates with bug fixes, new features and improvements are posted frequently on our server.

Activation An activation key is required to get access to the new advanced hydronic distribution calculation mode that is included in TA Select 3. Please contact your nearest sales office for obtaining an activation key.
